Refund policy
You have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
Once your return request has been approved, you must send the item back to us within 14 days of approval. We recommend returning the item as soon as possible to avoid delays or refusal.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- In the same condition that you received it
- Unused, uninstalled, and free from any marks or damage
- In its original packaging with all contents included
We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you must email contactus@vehiclemoddingcompany.co.uk. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package.
Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.
Return shipping
The cost of return postage is not covered by Vehicle Modding Company unless otherwise stated. You must use a tracked and insured service for all returns. Vehicle Modding Company is not responsible for items lost in transit, and the customer bears the risk until we have received the returned goods.
If there isn’t a problem with the product but you wish to return it to us, we charge a 5% restocking fee to cover our costs.
Subscription services are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately (within 48 hours) if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item.
Failure to report issues within this timeframe may result in your claim being declined.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
We do not accept returns for:
- Custom or made-to-order products
- Items that have been installed, used, or altered
- Sale items or gift cards
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
If you are unsure, please contact us before purchasing.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you if your refund has been approved.
If approved:
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method
- Please allow 5–7 working days for the funds to appear, depending on your bank or provider
Delivery costs:
- We will refund the cost of standard delivery only (where applicable under UK law)
- Any upgraded or premium delivery services (including next day delivery) are non-refundable
If a return is refused due to not meeting our conditions, we may offer to return the item back to you at your expense.
